Marriott Hotels Team Up with FIFA World Cup 2026

Marriott Bonvoy is the official hotel sponsor for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America, offering exclusive accommodations, loyalty rewards, and curated fan engagement experiences in 16 host cities. The World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Marriott Bonvoy, in partnership with FIFA and its long-term payment technology partner Visa, is creating immersive experiences for guests in Canada, Mexico, and the United States

Key Partnerships

“Fans Around the World” Campaign: Led by football superstars Erling Haaland and Vinicius Junior, this joint campaign aims to bring global fans closer to the tournament. 

Marriott Bonvoy Moments: Members can use their loyalty points to bid on or instantly redeem over 600 exclusive World Cup packages. These include Tier 1 tickets, hotel stays, and exclusive “1-point deals” for top-tier events. 

Overnight Suites: Marriott has partnered with Visa to completely transform luxury suites at New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium) in New York into fully-equipped Marriott hotel rooms, providing an unparalleled matchday overnight experience. 

Matchday Events: Throughout the summer, Marriott Hotels will host 10 "Matchday Events" for fans, including the "Shooting Challenge," an interactive penalty shootout simulation game where fans can win tickets to the World Cup final. 

In-Hotel Activities: Select hotels across Marriott's 30+ brands will offer limited-time themed events, such as customized match menus and signature cocktails like "Midday Highball." 


Travel and Accommodation During the Event

Fans who book directly through Marriott's official booking channels will continue to earn standard loyalty points on all eligible stays during the event. Due to the high demand for hotel occupancy in the 16 host cities, Marriott Hotels is actively coordinating logistical support to support the expected 6 million fans and a portion of accompanying delegations.
